Custom Diamond Skins

Hey all,

I thought I might try my hand at texturing/skinning so I figured why not make custom skins for the Diamond community. I'm only taking baby steps with this spark engine. So far everything I've tried to mod on this game turns out 100x harder than I anticipated.

This is my first try at skinning anything so I don't really know what i'm doing. As far as publishing goes I haven't had much success. If I run it as a mod the game gives me "fails consistency check" even when I run it in my own server. If anybody knows anything about modding or anything I would appreciate any advice you could give me.

So let me know what you think. I have a few more logo designs in my head and I want to do a Diamond Marine model at some point. I don't know if it's possible but I thought we could maybe have custom models for server members in game. Maybe there's already a mod that allows custom models for individual players. Like I said i'm pretty derp at this stuff. Anyway, give me some feedback and if you have any ideas please share them.

I plan to make improvements to how the logo looks on the metal and stuff. First attempt done fairly quickly. Just looking for initial reactions. Thanks

I like it, and think its a great idea. Maybe even incorporate the molecular structure of diamond into some things if you want a little more of a futuristic look. I'm also very on board with AnnoyingMachine's suggestion to make the gorges heal spray diamonds.

Great ideas and kudos for you for taking on the initiative Vengaboy. I think that you'll find there's quite a few skilled people in the Diamond Community. So my hopes are you'll get the help you need.

I like it. The idea of diamond heal spray made me think of a cloud of glitter. I think a lot of people would go for glitter cloud heal spray. fabulous!

Right now I am a huge fan of this site Assignment Master. The biggest reason to that is the service they provide. I can see myself using this site more often to be honest.

I think this site openpaperless.com should focus on their service. Because I didn’t like support of the quality. Also the prices are to expensive and high.
