Hi everyone! It's good to be part of DiamondGamers and this wonderful community of folks. I look forward to my stay here. I'm normally available to help, listen, learn, and just have a great time playing Natural Selection 2. Some quick background on me: I go by Webtrance or "Web" though I'm really Qx9 from the old Unreal Tournament 1999 - UT3 days. I'm 48 and still play FPS most evenings as a hobby. I still feel like a kid most days. I'm married and have a 23yr old son in college. I've been an Air Traffic Controller since 1985 and have worked in several of the busiest radar facilities in the USAF. I'm retired from the Air Force after 20yrs of service and currently work in a Control Tower, serving a multitude of military aircraft...with primary focus on F-35 Joint Strike Fighter training. I've been FPSing since FPS was born (first game was Pong) and eventually got into modeling/skinning and mapping for Unreal Tournament. I used to be heavily active in the deviantART community until it became littered with spam and thieves in various art categories, such as wallpapers, icons, skins/themes, etc. If you search Webtrance or Qx9 in Google, you may see some of my old work in wallpapers, skins/models, or Windows Vista/7 visual styles. PC specs: Core I7 3820 OC 4.6ghz, GTX 680 (+150 core clock / +450 memory clock), 16gb CL9 Corsair RAM, Cooler Master (CM) Storm Quick Fire Pro Keyboard/CherryMX brown switches, CM Storm Inferno mouse (Windows mouse sensitivity 2, in-game setting 1, mouse at 1200dpi), Artisan Zero XSoft mouse pad, Monitor Benq XL2420TE @ 144hz. FPS framerate limit set to 140fps using nVidia inspector (helps with stutter & tearing). no use of vsync/no buffering, raw input on, mouse smoothing off. Again, it's good to part of this community. Hi WebTrance. Well that can take a lot out of a person being an air traffic controller. I hope they refill your coffee machines. You always hear those stories of controllers falling asleep. I did appreciate your work history. It's really good knowing that you can still pursue your gaming hobby even after retirement. That's a pretty nice rig you have there as well. And to think I've been playing on my "palm pilot" after all these years. ( I'm sure WebTrance remembers those - lol ) Anyways - Welcome to the Community, and I hope to see you on the server more. I do apologize if the forums are a little stale, but I'm a little short handed in refreshing some threads. Btw, any other games you play?

BTW, I don't really play anything else these days, though might get back into Unreal or Quake. NS2 is just a great game and I'm sort of excited about the Combat stand-alone game coming out.
