Hey guys just wanted to share something. A little parinoid that someone or something is tracking you when you're surfing the web? I am errr or was here's a handbook that will help ya out if you want your surfing experience to be a tad more private. http://new-world-order-plan.org/wp-c...erHandbook.pdf Also wanted to start up the conversation on privacy, VPN, and proxies. Wouldn't want your private info stolen right? Better safe than sorry is what i say
Meow?
Ooh, seems someone's been a dirty boy... I know someone who would definitely need this advice *cough* rusty *cough*
I'm pretty serious when it comes to cyber security (very closely related to my major) so I try to keep up on these things. If you're super paranoid get something like Tails on a MicroSD card (easy to quickly dispose of). I don't like Tails because it doesn't save data (which is a good thing) but I've read you can set it up that way. I myself would probably just going with something fairly obscure but high on security like FreeBSD if it can run my desired software. Then from that use just a whitelist if you can, go through a VPN and then Tor. Obviously disable Javascript. You'll likely be using Firefox and there's a tons of analytics blocking addons. Use the HTTPS Everywhere addon. Don't save cookies, history, etc and encrypt it with software you trust - TrueCrypt is well known but closed-source. Learn how to use PGP for communications - and you should be fairly safe until the NSA gets their quantum computer online. Running on-top of a virtual machine is a bad idea as everything that passes through the secure virtual layer ends up being just as vulnerable as the host system.
