Post here about class builds you have found useful!
Hello everyone! If you are looking for an elite healing build, I may just have one for you! This build was brought to me by Ragnarok. Here is what you need to know. Create an Argonian Templar. Argonians have a racial boost to healing, as well as a racial boost to resto skill line, so it makes sense to choose this for your race. Secondly, you are going to want to focus on the restoring light skill tree as it is the main heal skill line. Light armor is a must, as it gives you passive bonuses to magicka pool, as well as magicka regen. Lastly, once you get a resto staff, start building that up ASAP. You may not use the heals from the resto staff tree, but the passives give you some nice bonuses like restoring magicka on heavy attacks, as well as other general healing buffs. Now as for solo play, you can go two ways with this. The most effective that I have found which was also presented to me by Ragnarok is the use of a bow. Bow's for right now are just super op! Even with full healing build at the beginning, the bow skills for solo were more than sufficient. The second way you can go is a melee range build. This isn't recommended solely based on the fact that light armor is squishy. You will find yourself using more magicka to heal than doing damage. This being said, I have seen a few others that have done very well melee Templar. Remember that no build is a wrong build. You can have a Dragonknight healer if you damn well please! After about 3 beta weekends I fell in love with the nightblade DW assassin/subtlety. invisibility-concealed weapon(2sec stun)-flurry-killers blade to finish. I also am a vamp so I drain essence for OP self-heals I'm 42-7-0 because all of the class skills scale with magic and this gives me a big enough pool to either-(a) re-stealth and stun when the stun fades or -(b) re-stealth in-between every target. The boost in armor and magic resist i get from coming in and out of stealth from Shadow Barrier keeps both stats overcharged constantly so damage isn't an issue but if I do get low the Vampire Drain essence will full heal my health and stamina. I use a mix of Medium and Light armor to get a bit of magicka and stamina recovery, the rotation is expensive mana wise but concealed weapon can one-shot cloth mobs if it crits and it feels so good.
So - how's the DW assassin doing? I hear they are re-doing the entire battle system as well. Could be interesting...
