Hello everyone. I play NS2 on and off, and I've been frequenting your sever enough lately that I thought I'd check out your forums. It seems like a friendly community. I saw you were running a rookie tourament for NS2 which is why I registered. I've never entered any kind of gaming tournament before and I like NS2 quite a bit so I thought I would give it a try. Welcome to the forums Skulktastic You came to the right server muh frand. Although the rookie tournament is still posted, there hasn't much progress to its organization since launch. Typically these days, we just hold our twice a week Captains Night for organized play which is a great way for new players to learn the game and see what our community is about. Its not competitive and eligible to anyone interested in a casual PUG. It offers a chance for players to experience a more balanced and organized game with players that know each other and make themselves available to rookies looking for advice. Capatin's Night happens every Monday and Thursday night at 7:00PM EST. Just be in the server before then (the earlier the better if you want to ensure you get a slot) and look for the prompt that tells you which of us to PM through steam to get a reserved slot/password. Although this may sound above your level of skill, I assure you it will be the best opportunity to learn this game quickly and with a friendly mix of players. Regardless, our server is always a great place to learn the ropes as there is usually at least one or two regular veterans there willing to answer any questions you have.
