    NS2 Maps

    Have a favorite map? I really don't, but I certainly dislike a few. Is it just me or are the 5 tech point maps the best in a big pug server? A 4 tech point map always seems to be a short, unbalanced game with one team picking up 3 tech points early and rolling the other team. Eclipse was my favorite NS1 map, I still love it but snowballing on a smaller map seems harder to avoid in pugs. I will forever M>Vote for 5 tech point maps.

    I like 5 the best but it usually means that whoever gets and holds the third wins. Obviously not always the case though. I want 6 tech point maps NOW you bitches

    Summit and Veil are great. Veil is a good map for players to learn the importance of first engagements and teamwork as a marine. I feel like the consequences are immediately obvious in Veil when you spawn back in Control and have to run all the way back to pipeline. Docking on the other hand... can't stand it. Especially as khamm with a Generator spawn... probably shouldn't have told yall that...

    Docking is a fun map, but generator has to be the worst starting point of any map. If marines simply rush maintenance and stability monitoring (i think it's called), there is little to no chance kharaa can win. Summit and Veil are definitely the two noob friendliest maps around right now.

    Refinery is the harder version of veil in my opinion. It has that double node center which is almost not worth taking unless you are completely dominating It seems that veil is all about rushing the double res node, while refinery is all about simply denying the other team from holding it...make them waste res on it until you have the superiority to hold it late game.

    have common sense, when marines rush those two push one out and take that side of the map, their base would be defenseless! breh.
