I've attempted to connect to the server multiple times over the last few days but get this error message every time. I'm *think* I'm running NS2 v260, but not sure how to verify. I can only say that the updates post to my machine automatically through Steam, and have no problems connecting to other servers. The issue appears to occur right after the mod files are checked/dl'ed. Any suggestions/thoughts?
The last time I had this, steam had a patch waiting, so shutting down and restarting steam applied it, then I could get in. The other thing to try is to delete your ns2 cache and workshop dirs. These depend on your OS.. Win 7 +, it's in %APPDATA%\Natural Selection 2\Cache and %APPDATA%\Natural Selection 2\Workshop.
Before getting onto the server - click "Mods" from your main menu and ensure none are active. Diamonds does heavy consistency checking to help reduce wallhacks and other exploits.
