It also doesn't say anything about being an alien commander and dropping a hive where marines have a gate - just to rage quit right after now does it?
rules are there - they change, and they are important. If an admin tells you to do something - then do it. They are fair. There is an auto-kick for afk after 5 mins - and yes - no speccing on a full server is a rule as it prevents ghosting. Next time if I ever do another video, I'll be sure to include it.

I wanted to say this really bad that night but refrained. Glad you did though. Borderline trolling. Even if you make a mistake, don't rage quit and avoid responsibility. Doesn't look good on you.

When the entire team starts going nuts on you for your mistake, its not worth staying commander. I play the game to have fun, and if I make a mistake, and team goes crazy and makes me feel bad, I am not having fun anymore, and hence, I leave the game. I had no idea that leaving a game as commander is a kickable offense, and I will no longer command in the future because I do stop commanding at points when I see we can't win.

You can say I was trolling, but leaving the entire game as commander because team is harassing you to me is not trolling, it's human emotions. I see marine commanders stop commanding all the time when they get beaten down, does that mean they should be kicked as well?

I am a bit confused now, because I merely brought up that the video lacked certain new rules and I was trying to add them so people in the future understand, but for some reason people brought up me leaving a game as commander, is that because leaving a game as commander when you feel bad is a kickable offense or is it merely an ad hominem attack meant to be retribution for bringing up some rules that aren't stated? I am confused as to the reason for bring up me leaving the game as commander? Is it even on topic?

And what does taking responsibility mean in this circumstance, toughing it out and taking the abuse from your team for making the mistake? What purpose does that serve? In the end, my goal in playing game is to have fun, when the game is no longer fun, I leave. If that's wrong, then so be it.

First off - everyone makes mistakes. It's human nature. Unfortunately there are other people out there who think we all need to be just like them.
If a commander wants to command a certain way, that's fine. IF a commander makes a mistake that costs the game. Who cares. People can get upset all they want to, but they are not allowed to harrass anyone. There is no room for harrassment on any DMD server.

In regards to venga's comment to you. He was right. Rage quitting after making a fatal mistake looks really bad on you. Even if there's a game on and people are like WTF dude - are you f'n retarded? Just tell them you made a mistake and that you don't appreciate the comments. If they continue - get an admin. We'll take care of it real fast. If it proves that the commander is trolling and they bug an admin for this - well - expect the hammer to drop.

My comment to you about leaving the game was for two reasons. It showed the point that i can't have every rule possible posted. What you did again was not a kickable offence but it affected about 21 other players. If it's a repeat issue than yes, there will be consequences. But we can't punish a commander for making an honest mistake every now and then. But we do punish those who deliberately sabatoge a game.

There's too many variables - and as such it's by a case by case basis. It was on topic.

Rooster you should add me, Rusty, Boon, Venga, or Demon on your list and message us about the harassment at least one of us at all times and we will be there with the quickness to BRING DOWN DA HAMMA. None of us will tolerate harassment not only to us but for everyone that is playing on our servers: Green, Diamond, VIP, or Pub.
