Hi Diamonds, I realize that a lot of people play NS2 for fun - and as such, I want to add to that excitement. I'm working on a league / ladder / tournament system for us to do inhouse. You don't have to be a "pro" player to join. All you do is click the Competitions tab at the top - and become a "Free Agent" - Or start a team and pick through the agents available. There's no skill requirement, There are two levels. Bronze ( Rookie ) and Silver ( Intermediate ) to help balance it out a bit. It'll be a double round robin system ( each team plays each other team twice ) Anyways, I'm still working on it, but if you have feedback, ideas, or would like to participate in a beta-test, please let me know. Thanks. Rusty ( Competitions link in navbar not active until I have it completed )
i can dig it.
First listen, then understand, then seek to be understood.
People can sign up to be "Free Agents" - others can start teams and recruit the agents - thus scheduling matches. the scores are inputted after each game - and teams are matched accordingly based on KDR / W:L rate How's that sound?
Sounds like it could possibly be a lot of fun.
Sounds good Rusty!
I like the sound of this.
I like it, but we all know about plans, mice and men... but we'll see.

Ok, so I've got the competition system up. However in thinking about how lazy pubs are, and schedules etc. What I think will work best is if we - the staff created 12 teams and then invited players into each team. ( We set the teams ) We could ensure 1 good player is within each team and fill the rest with people that don't play that much. If a team becomes really good - they can move up the ladder to ensure they don't stomp newer playing teams. Thoughts?
An intriguing notion, for sure!
Good idea! As long as we have enough willing people to fill up 12 teams it should be good!
