I'm thinking about modding vote success, largely to account for afk/loading/clueless people on the server not voting. At the moment, the best formula I have is (yes% - no%) *2 > nonvoting%. For an all yes vote, this means over 1/3 of the server has to vote, and it passes. (If 22 are connected, 8 yes/0 no passes) For a nearly even split, virtually everyone has to vote (If 22 are connected, 11 to 10 passes, but 10 to 9 fails) Any thoughts/suggestions on this formula?
I can see the need for sonething to be done, yes. your idea seems as good as any. but I don't know how it can be coded.
"Suicide is a way of telling God, "YOU CAN'T FIRE ME, I QUIT!"
I could get this done - and have the vote method called through the same system that we use to vote maps, and choose unstuck. So players could click "M" - choose Vote Random - and then have it calculated based on my algorithm. Let me see what I can do.
